As a SCM Manager, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Business Unit Process Industries (BU) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. Your responsibilities As a SCM Manager you will be member of End User Sales team (of the LBU / the Service Station). Achieves targets set by Head of End User Sales, based on LBU strategy. Delivers appropriate market coverage for new business end user influencing and service sales in his assigned territory / segment / customer group. Provides alignment with existing OEM and End User Agreements. Accountable for owner decisions in favor of ABB in new business and service revenue and margin in his assigned territory / segment / customer group. Builds professional long term relationships with his assigned customer base.

Your Tasks as a SCM Manager will include the following:

• Implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and Continuous
Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Develop and manage material planning function for goods and materials demanded. Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes. Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process. Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems. Lead reengineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
• Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts. establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning /forecasting. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of SCM team. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws, measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to management.
• Familiar with the development, use and implementation of planning and forecasting systems. apply expertise to specify system functionality.

Your background • Education: Electronics, Automation or Mechanical background and familiar with Mechanical/Electronic processes.
• Knowledge of integrated supply chain and logistic concepts and able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization.
• Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems (MRP/DRP/ERP/CRM), have experience in implementing Planning/Forecasting system
• Good in MS Excel and Access and experience in SAP.
• Result orientation, excellent analytical abilities, Excellent team-building and project management skills, good communication skill and execution and can work under pressure.
• Fluent in both written and oral in Chinese and English.
